SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY

Artists Within Makeup Academy

Free Shipping

Enjoy free shipping on all Canadian orders over $125.00 (before tax and discounts).

 

Shipping Rates

All other Canadian orders are shipped via Canada Post. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and the weight of your order. You will see your exact shipping cost before completing your purchase.

 

Processing & Delivery Times

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days of receipt. Please note that processing times are separate from shipping transit times. Delivery timelines may vary depending on your location and carrier availability.

 

Order Tracking

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to become active.

 

Shipping Fee

A flat shipping fee of $20.00 CAD applies to all orders shipped to the United States via Canada Post.

 

Duties, Customs Fees & Import Taxes

Please be aware that your US order may be subject to import duties, customs fees, brokerage charges, and applicable US taxes upon arrival. These fees are set and collected by US Customs and Border Protection and are entirely outside our control.

Import duties and customs fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Artists Within Makeup Academy is not able to predict, cover, reimburse, or waive these charges under any circumstances. By placing a US order, you acknowledge and accept this responsibility.

We welcome international orders! As shipping rates vary significantly by destination and package weight, please contact us directly at info@artistswithin.com for an accurate shipping quote before placing your order.

 

Duties, Customs Fees & Import Taxes

Artists Within Makeup Academy ships from Alberta, Canada. All international orders, including orders shipped to the United States, may be subject to import duties, customs fees, brokerage charges, and destination-country taxes upon arrival.

These fees are set and collected by the destination country's government or customs authority. We have no control over these charges and are not able to predict, cover, reimburse, or waive them under any circumstances.

By placing an international order, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for any duties, customs fees, or related charges that may be assessed at the time of delivery.

 

Refused International Deliveries

If an international shipment is refused at delivery for any reason, including unpaid duties or customs fees, the order will be returned to us. Upon receipt of the returned package in new, unopened, and unused condition, a refund will be issued for the product cost only.

The following will be deducted from your refund:

•       The original outbound shipping fee

•       Any return shipping or brokerage fees charged to Artists Within Makeup Academy as a result of the refused delivery

 

We do not cover the cost of return shipping on any orders, domestic or international. Original shipping fees are non-refundable once an order has been fulfilled and dispatched, regardless of the reason for return.

Physical Products

We stand behind the quality of our products and want you to be completely satisfied. If you are not, products may be returned in new, unopened, and unused condition within 14 days of purchase, subject to inspection and approval.

To initiate a return, please contact us at info@artistswithin.com before sending any items back. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

 

Makeup Kits — AW03 Pro & Starter

AW03 Pro and Starter Makeup Kits associated with student or industry insider enrolments do not qualify for returns or refunds. However, if your kit arrives damaged or contains defective items, we will replace the affected products at no cost.

To request a replacement, contact us at info@artistswithin.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Replacements will not be issued after this period.

 

Online Courses

Online course purchases will be refunded provided:

•       The student has not logged in to or accessed the course content, AND

•       The refund request is submitted within 14 days of the purchase date

Once a course has been accessed, no refund will be issued.

 

Diploma Programs

Deposits paid for diploma programs are non-refundable. Start dates may be transferred to a future intake, subject to availability, for a transfer fee of $50.00.

Withdrawal and termination of diploma enrolment and any associated tuition refunds are governed by the Private Vocational Training Regulation (Alberta) and are detailed in the Alberta Student Enrolment Contract provided upon registration.

 

Return Abuse

We monitor return activity for patterns of abuse or potential fraud. Customers found to be engaging in excessive or fraudulent return behaviour will be notified in writing that we will no longer accept returns from them, with or without a receipt.
